Three young filmmakers are asked to explore what remains of the female partisan resistance in the Susa Valley.

Having never met before, they learn to know each other through the camera, examining themselves and questioning one another. What remains today of the partisan resistance? And of our past history? What does it mean to fight for something? What does emancipation entail? Using the diaries of Ada Prospero, a Turin partisan who fought in the valley, as a starting point, they traverse these landscapes seeking the stories of women who have inherited, directly or indirectly, the lessons of resistance, territorial defense, and sacrifice from those who lived the struggle as a form of emancipation.
